lyrics
Since 2017 everything appears the same
But since 2017 everything has changed
Everything has changed
They’re shaking off the stigma
The cat is out the bag
They’re facing off the enigma
They’re burning down the flag
They’re opening up the X-files
Lies are such a drag
Tom DeLonge didn’t sleep 3 nights
And you understand when you realise
What’s going down
And the ramifications
The fall of nations
And the permutations
Great expectations
Since 2017
Frootbat Reset and another war of the damned and deranged
But since 2017 everything has changed
Everything has changed
They’ll tell you you’re not crazy
If you saw lights in the sky
And if your memory is hazy
It doesn’t mean you were high
And they may even praise you
For saying what you saw
Leslie Keane and James Fox
Opening up Pandora’s Box
We’re going down
It’s on television
Scientific derision
The big collision
The fall of religion
The lack of human vision
The lack of human vision

The narration in the end section comes from an interview given by Robert Salas youtu.be/HtGaxsfgRJ4
In another interview he uses the line “They’ve come to take the matches from the child” to describe his feeling about why the UAP disarmed the nuclear missiles that he was in charge of.
There wasn’t time to ask for permission to use it so I ask for forgiveness instead. Other samples come from US Navy pilots reacting to UAPs as they observe them in real time. Once again I ask for forgiveness and hope the music helps to bring their message to as wide an audience as possible.
So glad I could attend the 2004 tour but unfortunately not that 2013-2014 tour, with this incredible setlist starting with a pseudo-acoustic set. I just love this live album. Even though Here Comes The Flood wasn't played that often... veekew
